Zombie Take-Out Episode 50: Chocolate Syrup and the Imaginary Nipple or Fun with Taxidermy

Scotto and Uncle John discuss what could be the most famous horror movie of all time and its shot-for-shot remake. This week on Zombie Take-Out it’s Psycho from 1960 and Psycho from 1998. Was the original just a b-movie in mainstream clothing? Was a shot-for-shot remake at all necessary? Lucky stamps.

I couldn’t believe it, John, when you said you never saw Psycho. I’ve seen it and the sequels. They were good but not as good as the original. And I’m definitely glad I didn’t bother to see the 1998 version. LOL Anne Heche can’t act her way out of a paper bag. I love that remark, John. Too Funny!! I have to agree with you, this movie was very graphic. I had to close my eyes while he stabbed her. Goriness really bothers me. Oh COOL!! Lt. Bookman was in the remake. BTW the book was Tropic of Cancer. And at the end of that episode you see George’s old gym teacher mumbling ‘Can’t stand ya’ and the view pans past the shopping cart w/that book in it. HUGE Seinfeld fan here:) Ahhh I was laughing at the Christopher Walkin, cow bell remark. Great Podcast guys. Happy “50th” Episode. I can’t wait until you make it to 100.
